TYPES OF ICE
Believe it or not, a lot of planning goes into designing ice cubes. Companies create different types of ice cubes with several shapes and textures. Each style is meant to appeal to various uses. The type of cube you choose can help save money or create the best presentation for your products. Snooker offers Cube, Flake, Crescent, and Bullet ice.

The most widely recognized type of ice, the original shape of the cube, is made beautifully by Snooker. It is created with quality machines to improve your experience with beverages, buffets, and ice displays.
BULLET
Our Bullet ice is our most versatile shaped cube. It’s perfect for day-to-day use or behind your restaurant’s bar. This type of ice features a hollow middle granting more surface area which allows for rapid cooling, quick production, and a perfectly transparent presentation.
FLAKE
Our flake ice is the perfect shape for improving shelf life and enriching the appearance of foods such as produce, meat, and seafood. Snooker flakes are made to maintain food hydration for long periods of time.

Flake ice is also ideal for use in bakeries, perishable food transport, and health care applications.
CRESCENT
Crescent cubes have a unique crescent shape. Since they are flat on one side and rounded on the other, they group together better than traditional square cubes. Their solid structure also means they don’t freeze together. Crescent cubes also prevent splashing. Their round shape allows liquid to cascade over them – meaning more liquid in the glass (and less out on the table, bar, etc.).

Although crescent cubes sacrifice flashiness for functionality, they’re still solid and clear. This gives them a nice look and a slow melting time.
